North Beach Improv was organized to give local San Francisco actors an opportunity to continue their craft after the tragedy of 9/11. A number of inter-active productions closed (The Soprano's Last Supper, Tony and Tina's Italian Wedding) in following months after this horrific attack on America. North Beach Improv brought together some of the bay areas finest comedic actors and enabled them to perform at the world famous New Pisa restaurant in North Beach.
